low-sodium soy sauce

water
▢

honey

tbsp
light brown sugar
(packed)

apple cider vinegar

ground ginger

garlic
(fresh, minced)

corn starch

chopped green onions
(optional, for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and let cook thoroughly, about 15-20 minutes.
While chicken is cooking, whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ginger, garlic, and corn starch.
Stir in the sauce with the cooked chicken and continue to cook and toss until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Serve warm on a bed of steamed rice, garnished with green onions.
NOTES
You can garnish with sesame seeds, if you'd like.
