INGREDIENTS

flour

cake flour

baking powder

sugar

salt

cup
shortening
▢
¾
cup
cold milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix flour, cake flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt (you don't have to sift).
Cut in shortening until the size of peas.
Add milk and mix well; the dough will be soft.
Flour a board lightly and roll out the dough 1/2 in thick.
Cut into biscuits and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until risen and golden brown.
