This is a Travis-Often-Requests recipe (meal)! We serve this with mashed potatoes and Pioneer Country gravy.
INGREDIENTS
- 3-4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts (cut in slices for faster cooking)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 ½ tbsp salt
- ½ tbsp pepper
- ½ tbsp paprika
- ½ cup oleo or butter (1 stick, cut in pieces)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425° F.
- Rinse chicken thoroughly in cold water and pat with paper towels.
- Mix dry ingredients together in a zip-lock bag, shaking to mix completely.
- Melt butter in shallow baking pan in the oven. (Remove the pan from the oven once the butter is melted.)
- Place 3-4 pieces of chicken at a time in the bag.
- Shake the back in order to coat the chicken thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Place chicken, in a single layer, in the baking pan.
- Bake 30 minutes.
- Turn chicken over and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
