INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 250° F. Place parchment on jellyroll baking pan.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whip together the egg white and water until frothy. In a separate bowl, mix together sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Add pecans to egg whites and stir to coat evenly.
  • Remove the nuts, and toss them in the sugar mixture until well coated.
  • Spread the nuts out onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake at 250° F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and place on wax paper to cool.
