Cheeseburger Salad

INGREDIENTS
- 1 small onion divided
- 2 plum tomatoes cut in wedges
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- ½ c dill pickles (diced)
- ¾ c ketchup
- 1 T yellow mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 8 cups thinly sliced green leaf lettuce
- hamburger buns (sliced)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Brown ground beef – drain.
- Slice onion in half – dice 1 of the halves, cut the other half into rings & set aside.
- Add ketchup, mustard, pickles and diced onions to browned ground beef.
- Heat through.
- Layer lettuce, beef mixture, onion, cheese & tomatoes.
- Serve with sliced, toasted hamburger buns.
