INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup shortening
- ¾ cup cold milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix flour, cake flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt (you don’t have to sift).
- Cut in shortening until the size of peas.
- Add milk and mix well; the dough will be soft.
- Flour a board lightly and roll out the dough 1/2 in thick.
- Cut into biscuits and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until risen and golden brown.
