I’ve been thinking about creating this site for years. Too many times I find myself at the grocery store searching for my favorite recipes that I’ve bookmarked, hoping they haven’t gone away so I can pick up ingredients or have called Mom or the kids to look recipes up for me that have been written down. That’s just too inconvenient!

One project that I started, but didn’t get very far was putting together recipes for the boys (with pictures) so they would have them when they left for college. They would ask me how to make something and I would (gladly!) stop what I’m doing to help them, but what if I wasn’t available? How can they find what they want? There must be an easier way!

Then there are the times I’m swapping recipes with family and close friends. I wanted an easy way to keep up with all these yummy recipes, without having to search text messages or multiple email accounts. What would be better would be if OTHERS could submit and store their own recipes!

With the help of a dear friend, I finally made time to make this little dream of mine happen and I’m very happy to share it with you. I hope you enjoy it!
